A Thai Airways jet has made an emergency landing with a blown tyre at Auckland Airport this morning.
The flight had about 300 people on board when emergency crews were notified.
Northern Fire shift manager Jaron Phillips said the plane, which was due to touch down at 11.36am, landed safely.
"It was one scale lower from declaring a full emergency. It's main gear on the starboard side had blown."
The Fire Service sent eight appliances, accompanied by police and ambulance. The plane landed about fifteen minutes late.
Emergency crews were now inspecting the aircraft.
