IFALPA Daily News Service - Monday 17 January 2011 : Thai details fleet plans
Thai International outlined its plans for its fleet renewals during a Board meeting on Friday.
The flag carrier says that it will be retiring 46 aircraft from its fleet between 2011 and 2017. During the same period it will take delivery of 26 aircraft, 12 A330-300s (อันนี้มาแล้วบางส่วน), eight B777-300ERs(นี่คาดว่าปี 2011 จะมา) and six A380-800(คาดว่ามา 2012) while purchasing 37 new aircraft.
The airline said that by 2017 it will posses 105 aircraft compared to the 89 it has currently.
